| The Folk Traditions Collection depicts photographs of people in
actual folk practices. It also includes photographs of subjects
presented in the manner of traditional naive painting. Daguerreotypes
and other early photographs of folk art paintings are another
important aspect of this collection. Many of these photographs
of paintings are the only visual record of the painting. Our book
Forgotten Marriage describes in detail folk photography and its
usage. (See Products and Services for a full description) |
